Final Friday music presentation: we enjoyed a special evening of country, gospel, and folk music with Courtney Patton and Jamie Wilson, Texas professional singer/songwriters. Courtney and Jamie play shows in California, Texas, Canada, and throughout the Midwest. We were thrilled to host them and a good time was had by all.
Senior High School youth retreat was at Broadway on November 2-3. Teens from throughout Missouri Union Presbytery came for a great time of faith, fun, food, outreach, games, and worship.
TRAIL'S END SUNDAY (a.k.a. Cowboy Sunday) in worship culminated in a barn party complete with music, great conversation around the fire, superior BBQ, and some roasted marshmallows. After morning worship full of cowboy songs and hymns, cowboy poetry, Psalm 23 in Western lingo, and a message about the end of the trail in the Bible, the barn party was a terrific way to end the day. (And during worship, everyone looked great in their boots, hats, bandanas, and buckles! Can't wait to do it again next year.)

Two and a Half Tenors performed wonderfully on Broadway. Hailing from Liberty, MO, Two and a Half Tenors are a highly sought-after group that performs all over Kansas City and beyond.
Videos and images from our steeple removal and repair, which also allowed a closer look at our bell (still in use every Sunday) presented to the church in 1876 by James and Mary White. (They certainly never considered that their names would be remembered and recognized on a worldwide electronic website!) THANKS to all who worked to make these repairs a reality!
