More from Pastor Rob:
It is a joy and honor to be serving as senior minister of Broadway Church. I arrived in May 2013 from Colorado; after nine years of ministry in the Denver area (and 16 years living there), my family and I were ready to explore what God had next for us – and God does not disappoint!
My undergraduate studies were in film and communications at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Following graduation, I spent 15 years working on a variety of projects as a producer, editor, and director for National Geographic, Disney, Rocky Mountain PBS, and others in fiction and non-fiction programming (IMDB.com). Following a lifetime in the church, and a challenging period of spiritual discernment, I then followed a call to ministry and earned a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary. Ministry is certainly a calling, and it is especially wonderful to be exploring this journey with my wife Chris, our daughter Sarah, and our son Aaron.

In addition to church ministry, I serve (or have served) other ministries and programs:
- Hospital Emergency Chaplain, Sky Ridge Medical Center
- Police Chaplain, Sedalia Police Department
- Commissioner, Synod of Mid-Missouri
- Chair, Missouri Union Presbytery's Committee on Preparation for Ministry
- Officer & Member, Pettis County Ministerial Association
- Service Dog Trainer, Retrieving Freedom (with Chris)
I also enjoy playing various musical instruments (especially with our Broadway-born roots band, One Track Train - Facebook and YouTube Channel), hiking, reading, golfing, and other sports. I especially love baseball and have so far visited 14 MLB ballparks.
"Getting down on one knee is a great way to field a ground ball, and the best way to pray to
God." -- Jackie Robinson, baseball legend
"I recently had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good at first, but when the gum lost its flavor, I was back to pondering my mortality." -- Mitch Hedberg, comedian
"The Master of Life's been good to me -- strength to face past illnesses and victory in the face of defeat. He has given me life and joy where others saw oblivion. Life and love go on; let the music play.” -- Johnny Cash, musician
