Fall has arrived! Students at Broadway Presbyterian Preschool are excited by the seasonal changes. They recognize nature's colors changing daily outside our classroom window. Many budding meteorologists have been suggesting words like "chilly" and "windy" and "leafy" as they're looking for clues to describe the weather and the temperature. (Some days are actually sort of "leafy".) Autumn surrounds us on our walks and outdoor investigations- we feel the cooler air, smell the sweet leaves, see the bright sun.
During our preschool classes, we've been discovering how to play, work, and learn together. Our students are recognizing letters of the alphabet, numerals, their written name, and the names of their classmates. We make music together everyday, singing songs that help students practice valuable social skills and strengthen their academic readiness. Everyday at preschool offers a new way to explore our world while sharing different thoughts and ideas.
This season has just begun! Many more adventures await us!
